With over 14 years of experience as a telecommunications technician, Gagoitsiwe brings deep technical expertise and industry perspective to the ambassador role. Having recently completed the 52886WA Advanced Diploma of Industrial Automation Engineering, he is passionate about innovation, collaboration, and empowering fellow students. His goal is to inspire others to reach their academic and professional aspirations while fostering a strong, supportive engineering community.
Antonio is a current Master of Engineering (Mechanical) student holding a prior degree in Electromechanical Engineering and professional experience in offshore oil and gas operations. His journey reflects a strong commitment to applied engineering, safety, and operational excellence. As an EIT Student Ambassador, Antonio is focused on supporting students with their journeys towards the global transition to clean and sustainable energy.


Engr. Joe Nino E. Orapa is a seasoned civil engineer and construction leader with more than 20 years of experience across the Middle East and Asia. His impressive career includes work with Airbus Saudi Limited (Defense & Space) and leadership roles at PARSONS and AECOM. A licensed Professional Engineer in Nevada (USA), PMP, and ASQ Certified Manager of Quality, Joe is currently pursuing his Doctor of Engineering at EIT. As an ambassador, he brings global insight into sustainable infrastructure, BIM, AI innovation, and data-driven project delivery.
Lhaki is a student currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (Civil and Structural Engineering) at EIT’s Perth campus. She is driven by a desire to apply theory to real-life solutions. With a strong academic foundation and growing communication skills, she aims to support new students as they transition into engineering studies. As an EIT Student Ambassador, Lhaki is committed to representing EIT with integrity and promoting the wide range of learning opportunities the institute offers.


Nicolás works in industrialized construction, supporting projects through technical coordination, BIM workflows, and planning. A graduate of EIT’s 52873WA Advanced Diploma of Civil and Structural Engineering, he plays a key role in bridging design intent with on-site realities. As an ambassador, Nicolás is passionate about sharing practical, project-based insights and strengthening the connection between academic learning and industry application.
Rebekah is an OT Solutions Architect and Technical Sales Leader with over a decade of experience in industrial automation. Having completed her 52886WA Advanced Diploma of Industrial Automation Engineering at EIT, she is a strong advocate for balancing a demanding career, personal life, and further studies. As a Student Ambassador, she enjoys mentoring and supporting students through collaboration and real-world insights gained throughout her professional journey.


Shane is currently studying the 52888WA Advanced Diploma of Applied Electrical Engineering (Power Industry) at EIT while working as a Network Asset Officer with Ergon Energy in Far North Queensland. His role supports essential electricity infrastructure for regional and remote communities. Passionate about the power and energy sector, Shane is keen to give back to the industry by contributing to its ongoing development and encouraging others to pursue meaningful engineering careers.
Stanford is a certified Mechanical Inspector holding API, CSWIP, IIW, and NACE certifications. He brings strong industry credibility to the ambassador team. Completing his 52884WA Advanced Diploma of Mechanical Engineering Technology in November 2025 and progressing to a Bachelor of Science (Mechanical Engineering) with EIT starting in February 2026, he is dedicated to sharing industry insight, supporting fellow students, and promoting excellence in engineering education.
