EIT Perth Campus Open Day 2026

1. Promoter
   The promoter of this competition is Engineering Institute of Technology Pty Ltd, ABN 39 135 762 426, of 6 – 8 Thelma Street, WEST PERTH WA 6005 (“EIT”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
2. Competition Period
   The competition opens at 3:30 PM AWST on Friday, 9 October 2026 and closes at 6:30 PM AWST on Friday, 9 October 2026.
   All completed Open Day Passports must be submitted before the competition closes to be eligible.
3. Who can enter?
   Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.
   Employees of EIT, its related bodies corporate, agencies involved in administering the competition and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
   EIT may request reasonable evidence of an entrant’s age, identity or eligibility.
4. How to enter
   To enter: Attend the EIT Perth Campus Open Day on Friday, 9 October 2026.
   Check in and collect an official Open Day Passport.
   Complete the required activities and collect the required stamps.
   Submit your completed passport at the designated competition entry point before the event concludes.
   There is no cost to enter and no purchase is necessary. Only one entry per person is permitted. Incomplete, illegible or late entries will not be eligible.
5. The Prize
   One winner will receive: One Bambu Lab P1S 3D Printer, valued at approximately AUD $600.00.
   The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash and cannot be exchanged for another product or service.
   If the advertised prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond EIT’s reasonable control, EIT may substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value, subject to applicable law.
   Any costs associated with collecting, transporting, setting up or operating the prize, unless expressly stated otherwise, are the responsibility of the winner.
6. How the winner is selected
   One winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Competition Period.
   The draw will take place on 14th October 2026 at 10:00 AM AWST at 6 – 8 Thelma Street, WEST PERTH WA 6005.
   The draw will be conducted by an EIT representative using a random selection method.
7. Winner notification
   The winner will be contacted using the contact details provided when entering the competition.
   The winner will be notified within 5 business days of the draw.
   The winner may be required to provide proof of identity and eligibility before receiving the prize.
   If the winner cannot be contacted after reasonable attempts, is found to be ineligible or does not claim the prize within 30 days of notification, EIT may conduct a further draw to select a replacement winner.
   Any further draw will be conducted using the same method as the original draw.
8. Prize collection
   The prize will be available for collection from the EIT Perth Campus, unless otherwise agreed with the winner.
   The winner will be contacted with details regarding prize collection.
   If EIT agrees to deliver the prize, the winner must provide accurate delivery details.
9. Disqualification
   EIT reserves the right to disqualify an entrant if:
   – they do not meet the eligibility requirements;
   – they submit more than one entry;
   – their entry is incomplete, illegible or submitted after the Competition Period;
   – they provide false or misleading information;
   – they interfere with or attempt to manipulate the competition or entry process; or
   – they otherwise breach these Terms and Conditions.
10. Privacy
    EIT will collect personal information from entrants for the purpose of administering the competition, conducting the draw, contacting the winner and arranging delivery or collection of the prize.
    Personal information will be handled in accordance with EIT’s Privacy Policy.
    Entering the competition does not require an entrant to consent to receive marketing communications from EIT.
    Where an entrant separately opts in to receive marketing communications, their personal information may be used for those purposes in accordance with their consent and EIT’s Privacy Policy.

11. Publicity
    The winner’s name may be published by EIT for the purpose of announcing the competition result.
    EIT may also ask the winner to participate in reasonable promotional activities, such as being photographed receiving the prize.
    Any additional use of the winner’s image or personal information will be subject to any consent required by law.
12. Liability
    To the extent permitted by law, EIT is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury suffered in connection with participation in the competition or acceptance or use of the prize, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
    Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or other applicable legislation.
13. Changes to the Competition
    EIT will conduct the competition in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
    EIT may cancel, modify, suspend or extend the competition where circumstances arise that are beyond EIT’s reasonable control, subject to applicable law and any approvals that may be required.
14. Social Media
    If the competition is promoted through Facebook, Instagram or another social media platform, the competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with that platform.
    Where applicable, entrants release the relevant social media platform from responsibility for the competition to the extent permitted by law.
15. General
    Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
    These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
    If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
    EIT’s decisions regarding the administration of the competition are final, subject to any rights available to entrants under applicable law.
