How do you use your experience in energy systems and mechanical engineering to support students as an EIT ambassador?

I use my professional background and social media contacts to launch campaigns where students share their favorite engineering topics. When issues are raised suggested solutions can be offered, fostering a supportive environment for everyone involved.

Can you tell us about your transition from being an Energy System Technician and Mechanical Designer to studying hydrogen energy at EIT?

My experience as an Energy System Technician and Mechanical Designer sparked my interest in innovation and sustainable energy. Working in these roles gave me practical skills in energy systems, leading me to explore new technologies like hydrogen energy. I saw EIT as the ideal place to deepen my knowledge and contribute to future energy solutions.

What motivated you to become an EIT student ambassador, and how does this role benefit you?

My drive to become a student ambassador stems from my passion for innovation, sustainability, and community. This role offers me a platform to make a difference, enhance my professional skills, and connect with a network of like-minded individuals.

What unique contributions do you believe you will bring to the EIT community?

As an ambassador, I act as a passionate advocate for EIT’s values and achievements. My role allows me to promote the institute’s culture and my enthusiasm and dedication help me foster a strong community.

How do you manage your studies and your responsibilities as a student ambassador?

Balancing my studies, including pursuing the 52884WA Advanced Diploma of Mechanical Engineering Technology, with my ambassador duties requires careful time management and flexibility. Prioritizing tasks effectively helps me meet both academic and ambassadorial responsibilities.

How do you promote EIT’s programs among prospective students in France?

I tailor my approach to fit the unique challenges and opportunities in France, leveraging social media to effectively raise awareness about EIT’s offerings.

Can you provide examples of how you incorporate your passion for innovation into your role?

I actively participate in EIT’s free technical webinars, using these opportunities to both promote them and gain new knowledge. This approach helps me stay engaged with the latest advancements and share valuable insights with others.
