The BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management equips professionals with the practical leadership and management skills required to lead teams, manage business operations, and drive organisational performance This program develops expertise in strategic decision-making, operational planning, people management, business risk management, organisational digital strategy, and continuous improvement. You will learn how to analyse and mitigate business risks, implement innovative solutions, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
With a strong focus on real-world application, students learn to lead organisational change, optimise business performance, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and implement practical solutions to complex workplace challenges, preparing them to confidently excel in leadership roles across various industries.
The program of the Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management for engineers is composed of 10 units of competency, which will be delivered over 18 months. Each unit includes weekly live and interactive webinars with an experienced lecturer, set readings, and assessments comprising of either written assignments, quizzes, or short activities.

VSL approved course, maximum tuition fee for Australian students: AUD $8,568.00
This means eligible students can use a VET Student Loan to pay their tuition fees up to a maximum loan cap amount, to be repaid through the Australian Taxation System.

You are expected to spend approximately 10-15 hours per week attending live webinars, learning the program material, and completing assessments. This includes attending weekly webinars that run for about 90 minutes to facilitate class discussion and allow you to ask questions. This program has a 70% attendance requirement in the live webinars in order to graduate from the program. If you are unable to attend the live webinars, you have the option of watching the recording of completed webinars and sending a summary of what you have learned from the webinar to the Learning Support Officer. The summaries go towards your attendance requirement for the program.
This program is run online on an intensive part-time basis and has been designed to fit around full-time work. It will take 18 months to complete.
We understand that sometimes work commitments and personal circumstances can get in the way of your studies, so if at any point you feel that you are struggling with the pace of the course or finding a particular module challenging, you are encouraged to contact your designated Learning Support Officer for assistance.
