Elias Chibi

Meet Elias Chibi, a dedicated heavy-duty feeder working in the Pilbara region of Australia’s mining industry. Elias is proving that upskilling doesn’t mean stepping away from your career. While working full-time on a two-weeks-on, one-week-off roster, he’s currently studying the 52884WA Advanced Diploma of Mechanical Engineering Technology with the Engineering Institute of Technology (EIT).

Thanks to EIT’s flexible, online learning model, Elias can attend webinars, connect with lecturers, and manage assignments around his work schedule. “It’s one of the best ways of learning,” he says, especially when the course content directly aligns with his hands-on experience in the field.
