How to Apply

Follow the instructions below to submit an application to study online with EIT.

Step 1:

Choose the online course you are interested in studying.

Step 2:

1. Start your application by clicking Apply Now from your chosen course page.
2. Complete the form with your contact details.
3. You’ll receive a validation email.
• your validation email and click on the Apply Now button to start your application.
• All Applicants are required to provide a copy of a formal ID with photo* and proof of residency.
4. Submit your application.
5. Your application will be assessed by your Learning Support Officer (this will take approximately seven working days).

Step 3:

1. If successful, you will receive a Letter of Offer from your Learning Support Officer. This means you have been offered a place into the program.
2. Login to our application portal and accept your offer.
3. An invoice will be issued approximately 4 weeks prior to the course start date. Once payment has been made you will receive further joining information from your Learning Support Officer.

Although there are no formal entrance requirements, these courses are aimed at those working in industry in technical positions who want to upskill or cross-skill in a particular field.

*Please note: Official ID with photo

You will need to provide us an official identification document, which includes your name (this must match the name used in your application) and a photograph. An acceptable official identification document includes either a copy of a current passport, drivers’ licence, ID card, or other official licence which includes a photograph of yourself. All documentation must be provided in accordance with EIT’s documentation guidelines.

Step 1:

1. Choose an online course.
2. Ensure you are eligible to study your desired course by reading the specific entry requirements available on the individual course page.

Step 2:

1. Start your application by clicking Apply Now from your chosen course page.
2. Complete the form with your contact details.
3. You’ll receive a validation email.
• Open your validation email and click on the Apply Now button to start your application.

Step 3:

1. Prepare your documents.
• Provide:
• Copies of qualification certificates and transcripts*
• Resume/CV which includes details of relevant work experience
• Employment (including a resume/CV) where applicable
• Evidence of English Language proficiency (if required)
• Official ID with photo*
• Proof of residency*
2. A Course Advisor may call you to see if you need assistance with the application process.
3. Submit your application.
4. Application assessment.
• Your application will be assessed by one of our Team (this will take approximately seven working days).
• You may be asked for additional documents, which may cause a delay in the process.

Step 4:

1. If successful, you will receive a letter of offer  from your Learning Support Officer. This means you have been offered a place into the program.
2. Login to our application portal and accept your offer.
3. An invoice will be issued approximately 4 weeks prior to the course start date. Once payment has been made you will receive further joining information from your Learning Support Officer.
4. Final confirmation will be provided when you have paid your tuition fees by the method indicated in your application form.

*Please note:

A requirement of studying with EIT is to provide us with a copy of a formal identification document, which includes your name (this must match the name used in your application) and photograph. An acceptable formal identification document includes either a copy of a current passport, drivers’ licence, ID card, or other official licence which includes a photograph of yourself. You will also need to provide qualification certificates and transcripts. These documents must show all units completed and an official statement to confirm that all requirements for award of the qualification have been satisfied. If a transcript is not yet available, please attach a certified written record which includes all grades. Copies of relevant documents must be in English. All documentation must be provided in accordance with EIT’s documentation guidelines

4. Application assessment.
• The EIT Admissions Team will review your application (this can take up to 21 working days).

Step 4:

1. Receive your Offer: If your application is successful, you will receive a Letter of Offer.
2. Review your Letter of Offer: Once you have reviewed your Letter of Offer, you will need to submit you acceptance by the specified due date.

Step 3:

1. Prepare your documents.
You will need to provide:
• Copies of your identification and qualifications*
• A 500-word statement as to why you wish to apply for this program
• A 1000-word research proposal
• Details of relevant work experience including a resume/CV
• Evidence of English Language proficiency
2. A Course Advisor will call you to see if you need assistance with the application process. If you wish to speak to a member of the research committee regarding your proposed research topic before submitting your application, this can be arranged.
3. Submit your application.
4. Application assessment.
• The EIT Admissions Team will assess whether you meet the academic entry requirements of the course.
• If successful, your application will be handed to the Research Committee who will review your personal statement and research proposal. An interview time too discuss your proposal with the Research Committee will be scheduled.
• If the Research Committee confirm you have been successful in gaining entry to the program they will refer your application back to Admissions Team for Offer Issuance.

Step 4:

1. Receive your Offer: If your application is successful, our admissions team will send you a Letter of Offer.
2. Review your Letter of Offer: Once you have reviewed your Letter of Offer, you will need to submit your acceptance by the specified due date.
