Please join Dr. Seyed Morteza Alizadeh, EIT Lecturer and Unit Coordinator in Electrical and Industrial Automation Engineering, to gain an understanding of virtual power plants and industry applications of this technology.

Virtual power plants remotely coordinate and distribute power to homes and businesses by flexibly integrating and controlling the supply from multiple sources, including generators, wind turbines, and battery storage systems. However, virtual power plants are still a new technology and not well understood by engineers.

This webinar will present the basics of what a virtual power plant is and which challenges and opportunities can be presented by this type of network. Participants will be familiar with the operation of virtual power plants and their potential impacts on the industry, with examples from actual projects.

This is a must-attend event for engineering professionals and aspiring engineers alike.
