Join the Engineering Institute of Technology (EIT) Open Day at our learning centre in Gaborone for an in-person information session to help you explore our interactive online and on-campus courses options.
Whatever stage you’re at in your engineering career, this session will guide you through your study options and how to get started.

At the session, you’ll learn about:
- Our range of industry-driven engineering programs (from short courses to Doctorate).
- Study options, whether online or on-campus.
- How to apply and what documents you’ll need.
- Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
- Support services available in Botswana and across Africa.
Our team will be available on the day to answer your questions and offer one-on-one advice about admissions, program pathways and your career goals. If you’d like assistance with your application, feel free to bring your documents along, we’ll be happy to guide you through the process.

David oversees the EIT course advisor team, the Education Agent network, and industry engagement with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service. With a demonstrated history in the higher education industry, he excels in negotiation, business planning, and management, showcasing his leadership skills. A strong business development professional, David is committed to fostering positive relationships and enhancing collaboration across the sector.

Basadibotlhe Patience Sento, Course Advisor
Patience is a dedicated Course Advisor who provides personalized guidance to students navigating their academic journeys. With over 10 years of experience in relationship management, she brings a deep understanding of service delivery and a proven ability to help students set and achieve academic goals, explore career opportunities, and develop strategies for success. Passionate about empowering students, Patience is committed to helping them reach their full potential and make informed decisions about their education and career paths.
Who is EIT?
The Engineering Institute of Technology (EIT) provides practical education and training in engineering and technology, with most graduates in fulfilling and well-paid engineering jobs. EIT offers excellence across its professional development courses, and in its Australian internationally accredited diplomas and advanced diplomas, bachelor and master degrees, and a professional Doctor of Engineering.
