Biography

Raymond Kene earned both master’s and bachelor’s degree in the field of electrical engineering at the Tshwane University of Technology in South Africa. With over 17 years of combined experience from the industry and academia, he has been involved with teaching, research and development in South Africa and the United States. His doctoral degree research in the field of electrical engineering, earned him the prestigious Fulbright scholarship award from the United States Government in 2022. From the University of South Africa, he received a “Patent Granted Award” in 2021 for research and innovation. In 2020, he received the “Innovation Doctoral Scholarship” award from the South Africa Department of Science and Innovation and the National Research Foundation. Raymond is passionate about education and human capital development.
