Biography

Dr. Mustafa Abed is a civil engineering academic and industry expert with over 15 years of professional experience across Australia and Dubai. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil and Construction Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology in Australia and is certified as a Professional Engineer (MIEAust) by Engineers Australia.
His career spans a decade in the construction industry, working with highly reputed international engineering consultancies and contractors, where he has demonstrated proven expertise in structural engineering, large-scale high-rise construction, concrete structures, project execution, and project management.
In academia, he specializes in structural engineering, mathematical modelling, water resources, and environmental engineering. His current research focuses on integrating artificial intelligence into civil engineering applications. He has published widely in peer-reviewed international journals.
