Biography

Dr. Muhammad Uzair is a highly qualified electrical engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the NED University of Engineering and Technology (NEDUET), Karachi, Pakistan. He holds a Master of Engineering Science degree in Electric Power Engineering from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia, a Master of Engineering Management degree from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia and Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering, awarded by UTS.

Dr. Muhammad Uzair has over ten years of academic experience in Australia and overseas. Additionally, his industry experience spans the renewable energy, electrical, electronics, and telecommunications sectors. His research interests focus on AC microgrid protection, with an emphasis on the integration of machine learning, deep learning, and multi-agent systems.

Fields of Research: AC microgrid protection; fault detection and classification using machine learning and deep learning, new feature extraction techniques and multi-agent systems.

Research Interest: Hybrid deep learning-based protection methods for fault detection and classification in AC microgrids.
