Webinar details

As we navigate through the 21st century, the fusion of cyber-physical systems and the integration of digital technologies in all sectors are revolutionizing the way we live, work, and interact. Industry 4.0, characterized by automation, data exchange, manufacturing technologies, and the Internet of Things (IoT), has set the stage for unprecedented efficiency and productivity in the industrial sector. Meanwhile, Society 5.0, a concept originating from Japan, envisions a human-centered society that balances economic advancement with the resolution of social problems through a system that highly integrates cyberspace and physical space.

In this webinar, we will delve into the intricacies of these paradigms, exploring how digital industrial transformation can lead to societal advancements. We will cover the role of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and the Internet of Things (IoT) in creating smarter, more efficient production systems and how these advancements can address pressing societal challenges. We will also provide insights into the current trends, challenges, and opportunities at the intersection of these revolutionary concepts. We aim to demystify how digital industrial transformation is shaping a new societal framework as well as highlight the critical role of cross-sector collaboration, ethical considerations, and policy-making in achieving a balanced digital industrial transformation that benefits all spheres of society.
