David Gajdus – Student Recruitment Manager, EIT

David oversees the EIT course advisor team, the Education Agent network, and industry engagement with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service. With a demonstrated history in the higher education industry, he excels in negotiation, business planning, and management, showcasing his leadership skills. A strong business development professional, David is committed to fostering positive relationships and enhancing collaboration across the sector.

Meet the Panelists

Adam Beck – Founder & Managing Director at NEON.URBAN | Smart Infrastructure & Precinct Innovation Specialist

Adam Beck is a leader in digital planning, smart infrastructure, and precinct innovation, with over 25 years’ experience across consulting, non-profits, and infrastructure projects. As Co-Founder of the Digital Built Forum, Adam has also held leadership roles with Indara, Smart Cities Council, and the Green Building Council of Australia. He offers valuable insight into how technology and data-driven planning make urban precincts more sustainable and connected.

 

Elizabeth Harrison –  Project Manager & Program Director | Offshore/Onshore Infrastructure & Design Assurance Specialist

Elizabeth Harrison is a Project Manager and Program Director with over 15 years’ experience delivering complex offshore and onshore pipeline, drilling, and cable projects. She has worked with major clients including Woodside, ExxonMobil, BHP, BP, APA Group, Arrow and SunCable across design consultancy, interface management, and asset owner/operator roles. Her expertise spans Metocean, geotechnical engineering, design assurance, and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on improving design certainty, reducing CAPEX, and minimising long-term OPEX. Elizabeth contributed to the UN Habitat 3+5 SEQ roundtables in 2022 and recently completed a Masters in Teaching to support greater STEM participation in schools. She is a chartered engineer with Engineers Australia and the Royal Institution of Naval Architects.

 

Nathan Norman – Biomedical Technology Consultant at Queensland Health | Technical Training & Recruitment Expert

With over 34 years of technical experience, including 25 years in biomedical engineering and 21 years in senior management. Nathan Norman provides expert guidance on recruitment and training of technical staff within the complex medical environment whilst maintaining technical standards, operational systems, and statewide engineering practices. He leads Queensland Health’s Biomedical Technician Cadetship Program, sharing his expertise in the development of critical workforce that is essential for Queensland Health to be able to deliver complex technical infrastructure projects safely and efficiently.

 

Casey Masters – Grid Advisory Lead at APD Global | Renewable Energy & Power Systems Specialist

Casey Masters is the Grid Advisory Lead at APD Global, where he specializes in renewable energy and large-scale grid connection projects across Australia. With expertise spanning power systems, project management, and sustainability, Casey plays a key role in enabling the integration of clean energy into the national grid. Driven by a passion for tackling climate change, he focuses on delivering engineering solutions that enable large-scale renewable projects to connect to the national grid swiftly, to support Australia’s transition to a more sustainable and resilient energy future.
