Abdullah Mujahid

• Professional Electrical Engineer
• Doctor of Engineering Student (EIT)

He is a licensed and registered professional electrical engineer (PEE) who, after graduation from college, spent seven years teaching electrical and electronics courses and other related engineering courses. In 2021, he started his doctorate of engineering journey with EIT, in Perth, Australia. His study focuses on developing a cost-effective healthcare digital assistant lead robot (DALBOT).

Abdullah is currently developing the prototype and doing a series of experiments to check every component before integrating them as one functional unit.

Mathematical Analysis on Harmonics Mitigation Using a Phase-Shifted Transformer based Twelve-Pulse Variable Frequency Drive

November 16, 2021 1:36 pm
Harmonics are among the serious problems that affect the power quality of an electrical system. However, harmonics nowadays are inevitable due to the ever-increasing number of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and other non-linear loads. In this regard, IEEE519 Standard specifies the allowable Total Harmonic Distortion (THD)...Read More
