This paper describes an effective ϵ-constraint passing vehicle search (ϵ-PVS) method for the multi-objective engineering design problems. This method solves the multiobjective optimization problems by solving a set of single objective sub-problems.

The effectiveness of the method is measured by implementing it on the challenging multiobjective engineering design problems with distinctiveness. It is shown in this paper that this method effectively generates the Pareto front. Also, this method is easy to implement and algorithmically simple.
