Overview: The EIT Mexico-Australia Future Engineers Scholarship is an opportunity for passionate students from Mexico who are eager to pursue undergraduate, postgraduate, or doctoral engineering studies in Australia. Launched in celebration of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mexico and Australia, this scholarship supports aspiring engineers who demonstrate a strong interest in advancing STEM and a commitment to shaping the future of engineering.

Value: 50% reduction in tuition fees

Number offered: On-campus – 2x available for 2026

Applicable to: Future students from Mexico starting an on-campus Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree at EIT in Semester 1 or 2, 2026

Delivery locations: Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane

  • Must be starting one of EIT’s higher education courses
  • Be a citizen of Mexico
  • Be an international, full fee-paying student without existing scholarships
  • Starting an on-campus engineering program at EIT in Semester 1 or 2 – 2026
  • Submit a personal statement (300 – 500 words) outlining career goals in engineering and how the scholarship will support their educational journey
  • Must meet or exceed the English Language Proficiency requirement for the specific course of study
  • Must meet all other academic and entry requirements for the course

Applicants will be selected based on:

  • Meeting course entry requirements
  • Quality and content of personal statement (career goals, alignment with engineering, and how the scholarship supports their journey)

  • Please complete and submit the scholarship application form along with your course application. Include a personal statement (500 words) and academic transcripts.
  • If you have already submitted your course application you can still send in your Scholarship Application to: scholarships@eit.edu.au.
  • Cut-off date for bursary application is 1 month prior to the start date of the course.

  • 50% tuition fee reduction applied evenly across all units and semesters
  • The scholarship only covers tuition fees and does not cover any other non-tuition fees or expenses
  • Non-refundable and non-transferable
  • Applies to reduced fees if RPL is granted
  • Recipients must pass all units each semester to retain the scholarship
  • Forfeited if student defers, withdraws, commits academic misconduct, or is identified as at risk
  • Not extended beyond standard course duration
  • Subject to review in case of enrolment changes or additional funding
  • Recipients must agree to the use of their name, photo, and/or testimonial for EIT promotional purposes
