Overview: The EIT Brisbane Engineering Bursary is designed to support motivated students who wish to undertake Master’s-level engineering studies at EIT’s Brisbane campus. The bursary provides financial assistance in the first year of study to encourage high-quality applicants and to support their academic journey while contributing to the development of future engineers.

Value: 30% reduction in tuition fees (first year only)

Number offered: On-campus (Brisbane) only for S2 2026 – no limit of number of Bursaries.

Applicable to: Full fee-paying international students commencing an on-campus master’s program at EIT’s Brisbane campus in: Semester 2, 2026

Delivery locations: Brisbane campus only (Not transferable between campuses)

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be an international, full fee-paying student without existing scholarships
  • Meet all entry requirements for the selected course including English Language Proficiency requirements

 

Applicants will be selected based on:

  • Compliance with course entry requirements
  • Has been issued with a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) for an eligible EIT Brisbane campus-based program

  • There is no requirement to apply; bursaries will be automatically awarded if applicants meet the selection criteria.

  • 30% tuition fee reduction applied to all units completed in Year 1 (first 2 semesters)
  • The bursary covers tuition fees only and does not cover any other costs (e.g., materials, OSHC, visa, living expenses)
  • Non-refundable and non-transferable
  • Recipients must pass all units in the first semester to retain the bursary in the second semester
  • The bursary will be forfeited if the student defers, withdraws, commits academic misconduct, defaults on fee payment or is identified as at risk
  • Subject to review in case of enrolment changes or additional funding
