Partha Dev has 27 years of Civil Structural Engineering & Management experience in the Oil & Gas sector. He has worked on major capital projects involving fixed and floating offshore structures, onshore hydrocarbon, LNG facilities, Power, Mining and Infrastructure assets from concept to commissioning and beyond, including facilities engineering, asset integrity & reliability and operations. His area of specialization is in the field of development of novelty concept structures like Floating LNG (FLNG) and Asset Structural Integrity Management.

Partha has been in senior technical leadership roles on major capital projects like Gorgon, Wheatstone & North Rankin Redevelopment Projects for global operators like Chevron, Woodside Petroleum, Shell and Gas de France Suez. He has also worked for EPC contracting majors like Worley Parsons, KBR, Aker Kvaerner and Bechtel. His work has spanned across Australia, Asia, Europe and USA. Partha also consults as the Director of Devtree Consultants based in Perth servicing clients like Petronas (Malaysia), ABS and Nihar. He is passionate about mentoring engineers/technical professionals and trains students in Management & Leadership, Civil & Structural Engineering, and Future Problem Solving across the world.

He has the highest level of commitment and energy reserved for instructing and assessing students at Engineering Institute of Technology, Perth. He is proficient in breaking down complex topics into simple and easy to understand elements with practical examples leveraged from his subject matter expertise and experience.
