Building on the success 2026, the 2027 Earthing Conference Including Surge and Lightning Protection program is being developed to deliver a strong balance of technical depth, practical application, and current project experience.
2027 Overview: Call for Papers
We are encouraging utilities, infrastructure owners, and asset operators to submit abstracts that demonstrate the cross-industry collaboration. As electrical networks increasingly interact with pipelines, telecommunications infrastructure, rail systems, renewable energy projects, and other critical assets, sharing knowledge across disciplines has never been more important. We invite all to contribute your experiences, challenges, and solutions to the 2027 program. By bringing diverse perspectives together on complexed projects, we can advance industry best practices and strengthen outcomes across the sector.

We are committed to ensuring delegates make the most of their conference experience.
In 2027, we are planning Welcome Drinks to be held on the Tuesday evening prior to the main program starting on Wednesday. This informal gathering will provide an excellent opportunity to meet fellow attendees, connect with speakers and sponsors.
We will continue to host the Conference Dinner on Wednesday evening.
The conference schedule will once again be designed with delegate convenience in mind, balancing technical content, networking opportunities, and professional development throughout the two days. The last session on Thursday finishing at 3pm to allow a stress-free return home before the bank holiday weekend.
