They were hoping to begin their studies on campus here in Australia\, but Covid intervened. Rather than delay their degrees\, they commenced their learning journeys remotely using EIT’s innovative online platform. Join us to learn more about their experiences so far. \nSeemab Fayyaz is an on-campus Master of Engineering (Industrial Automation) student\, but is currently in Pakistan due to border closures; she has started her studies online. \nAdriana Santana Conseicao is an on-campus Master of Engineering (Electrical Systems) student\, originally from Brazil. She traveled to Australia prior to the pandemic and is based in Sydney. When she was accepted onto the course she decided to start her studies online\, due to border closures in Western Australia. \nBoth students will share their impressions and stories of their studies so far\, they will also outline what they are looking forward to most about starting on-campus with EIT. \nJason Gabriel\, Higher Education Manager\, will explain how students like Seemab and Adriana are nurtured and encouraged by Student Services and their Learning Support Officers. He will also describe the application process for those who are eager to begin their degrees online\, with a view to continuing their studies on campus. \nThis is a must-attend event for students looking at living and studying engineering on-campus in Australia.
