He holds a PhD degree from Kurukshetra University in India\, followed by a post-doctoral fellowship at Paris Tech France\, one of the renowned Grandes Écoles. Subsequently\, he actively participated in various projects related to wind turbines and machining at NTNU Norway. Vishal’s research primarily focuses on Advanced Manufacturing\, resulting in the publication of 108 scientific articles. His work has garnered over 3\,600 citations\, establishing an impressive H-index of 34 on Scopus. His expertise has been acknowledged globally\, as he was recognized among the top 2% researchers worldwide\, according to a study conducted by Stanford University. With an extensive experience of over 25 years in teaching and research\, specializing in advanced manufacturing\, Vishal has made significant contributions to his field. \n \nAlex Payne-Billard\, Lead Engineer – Rail and Mass Transit at Aurecon \nAlex’s extensive experience in asset management and systems engineering within the rail sector spans over 12 years. Her expertise includes developing asset management frameworks\, strategies\, and plans for new or changed asset configurations. Alex has led teams in various roles\, focusing on driving efficiency and performance improvement. Her MBA provides a strategic foundation to enhance asset management from a broader business perspective. Alex’s passion for leveraging her skills in digital twins and AI drives innovation and excellence in the industry\, resulting in significant cost savings and optimised operations. \n \nLeading the panel discussion is  Dr Akhlaqur Rahman\, EIT Course Coordinator and On-Campus Lecturer – School of Industrial Automation Engineering \nDr Akhlaqur Rahman (AK) is the Academic Course Coordinator and Lecturer for the school of Industrial Automation at Engineering Institute of Technology (EIT)\, Melbourne\, Australia. AK is also member of IEEE and Engineers Australia (MIEAust). Akhlaqur completed his PhD from Swinburne University of Technology in 2019. Before joining Swinburne\, he was a Lecturer and Coordinator for the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering\, Uttara University\, Dhaka\, Bangladesh\, from 2013 to 2014.
