Bachelor of Science Degrees
EIT’s Engineering Bachelor of Science Degrees have been designed by experts from both industry and academe to ensure graduates are prepared for meaningful employment in an engineering workplace.
There are four Bachelor of Science (BSc) degrees, each one specializing in a different engineering stream: Industrial Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil and Structural.
These qualifications are delivered online to facilitate full time work, mobility and distance learning. However, students are expected to ‘attend’ scheduled live webinars during which they interact with their local and internationally-based lecturers and fellow students.
The practical components of the degree are acquired via cutting-edge simulation software, remote laboratories and industrial experience units.
To ensure students remain engaged and motivated, dedicated Learning Support Officers guide and assist them throughout their studies and EIT’s Learning Management System provides an effective college interface.
Students may be awarded credit as a result of previously completed qualifications and they may also apply for articulated pathways from other courses and fields of study.
Master of Engineering Degrees
Science, maths and engineering graduates can become specialists in the engineering industry, with EIT degrees accredited by the Australian Government. These part time, 2 year Master of Engineering Degrees are designed to enable students to enhance their expertise in increasingly important engineering disciplines.
EIT’s approach to learning allows students to remain in full time work while completing their studies. It is a fully online qualification, but the lectures are streamed to students in real time which enables student-lecturer interaction. They also have access to remote laboratories and cutting-edge simulation software. Students can access EIT’s college interface via a user-friendly Learning Management System.
This platform of learning ensures students remain engaged in the study process. Dedicated Learning Support Officers are available to assist students throughout their studies and there is the prospect of establishing professional networks with their local and internationally-based lecturers and fellow students.
The Master of Engineering Degree also provides students with the opportunity to design projects which will have academic applications and the potential to benefit and improve the engineering communities they serve.
