EIT Policies and Procedures

Summary

The Engineering Institute of Technology (EIT) is currently a Registered Training Provider (RTO) in the Australian Vocational Education & Training (VET) sector – provider # 51971. All the policies that relate to VET training are listed below as “VET Policies”.

The EIT is also currently engaged in the application process to become a Higher Education Provider. The proposed set of policies that will apply to this future training activity are listed below as “Higher Education Policies”.

Where polices are applicable to both sectors (VET and Higher Education) we refer to these as “Dual Sector Policies”.

This policy structure is explained further in the diagram below.

The existing policies are working documents and are constantly evolving in accordance with our policy of continual improvement. They do not represent a definitive set. Refer to this site for updates.

The policies have received preliminary approval by both the EIT Governance and Academic Boards. Policies are regularly reviewed according to the appropriate review period stated within each policy.
