Live Online Webinar: Fundamentals of Process Control

Live Session   |   Wednesday - March 22, 2017

Join EIT's Dean of Engineering, Dr Steve Mackay, for this 45 minute live and interactive session. An ambitious (but dare we say - achievable) review from the raw fundamentals of process control (PV, SP and OP) to stability and PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) control from a practical perspective (with a focus on always achieving stability in one's control). With a brief mention of public enemy no. 1 for PID control - namely deadtime.

Topics covered are:

  • Introduction to Process Control
  • Tuning
  • Cascade loops
