Enrolment Options & Pathways

The Engineering Institute of Technology (EIT) provides a flexible set of enrolment options and pathways that can extend existing qualifications, giving full recognition to already completed studies. The smallest unit of study is the Module, each covering a number of specialist topic areas. Modules are offered at four levels of study:

In some cases the same Module content is provided at different levels of study, the difference being that the higher level can only be achieved by passing the set examination. To pass the examination of a Module at level 2 the student must be able to demonstrate a deeper level of understanding of the content of the Module and be able to apply the knowledge gained in new or novel application areas.
